“Is that all you missed?” she teased and ran her hands up to his hair and pulled it free from the band. It fell down around his shoulders in soft waves. “That’s better.” She tugged on the ends and leaned forward to give him another kiss.

“Damn,” he moaned into her mouth, then pushed her away from his body. He reached down to adjust himself and then walked over to his Ducati.

“Where are you going?” she whined in a breathless huff and tried to follow, walking on the toes of her heels so she wouldn’t sink into the dirt.

“Put your hands here.” He pointed to the seat of his bike.

“I don’t think this is such a good idea.” She gave him a doubtful look.

“Sure it is.” He smiled. “Come on, where is your sense of adventure?”

“Oh you want to see my sense of adventure?” She put her hands on the seat of his bike and leaned forward. The bike tilted. “Never mind, this is not going to work.”

He looked around. “I know, come here, over to the gate then.”

  “It’s full of weeds.”

“Not that side, over here where the overgrowth isn’t so bad.” He shoved his hands into his pockets and waited.

She looked at the other side. It was true the growth wasn’t as bad but it didn’t look too good either. Still she walked over to the spot. “Now what?” she asked.

He came up behind her and wrapped his hands around her. “Hold the bars,” he instructed, sliding his fingers down her sides.

Leaning forward, she grabbed hold of the cool metal.

“That’s better.” He slipped his fingers down into her shirt, toying with her breast, squeezing the nipple.

“Oh Lucian,” she gasped in pleasure, immediately aroused. He had that effect on her.

He pulled her body closer, making her push her backside up against his growing arousal. “Hmm, that’s right,” he murmured in a rush of warm breath and slid his free hand up under her skirt. He cupped her with his hand. “No panties I see.”

  “I never wear them…remember?”

“Oh, I remember.” The heat from his hand made her burn even more. He slid his finger inside. “You’re already wet for me,” he murmured against her ear.

She bit her lip, and nodded her head. “What do you expect…?” Her body clenched, when he slid his finger deeper.

“That’s it baby,” he coaxed, running his hands up between her thighs, spreading them further apart. “I want you.”

  “I gathered that.”

“Are you being smart with me?” he asked playfully and slid his fingers back inside.

Her breath hitched. “No,” she lied. “I am merely waiting for you.”

“You won’t have long to wait….”

She tried to turn to kiss him but he held her body in place. He stroked her once again deeply and then pulled his hand away.

“Don’t stop,” she begged, twitching her backside back and forth. “That feels incredible.”

“You want more,” he murmured throatily and slid his hand slowly up her inner thigh, his fingers rubbing against her soft yielding flesh once more.

“Oh yes,” she cried, writhing against his hand. She was tingling from head to toe. Close but not close enough.

Lucian removed his hand and stepped away. Part of her sweet ass was exposed, her tight skirt gathered around her hips.

“Oh God, why did you stop?” she complained, turning toward him, even though she was expectantly awaiting his return. It was a little game he liked to play. Get her hot and bothered and then leave her on the edge. She waited…and waited…nothing. Finally, she looked back over her shoulder. He was looking at her with an unreadable expression on his handsome face. She had no idea what he was thinking. With Lucian, one never knew.

Lucian kept watching her for a moment. He was a very visual man. He liked to see what was going on. She twitched back and forth, awaiting his return. It was quite a sight. Her short skirt pushed over her bare ass while she held the bars of the gate. He liked making her wait.

“Lucian, what are you doing?” She let go of the gate and turned around.

“You know I like to watch.” He shrugged, like it was no big deal and moved toward her. He smiled at her, and lifted his hands to her face, holding either side. Leaning in, he lowered his mouth to hers and kissed her languidly, making love to her mouth with his tongue as he increased the pressure, kissing her hungrily.

She followed his lead and kissed him back. Her tongue tangled with his, her hand kneading his muscular back.

“So you did miss me,” he murmured, trailing hot kisses down the side of her neck.

She wasn’t sure if he was asking her a question or making a statement. “Of course I did.” She answered anyway.

“I don’t believe you,” he teased. “I think I am going to need you to show me.” He reached under her skirt and shoved two fingers in this time, his mouth seizing hold of hers once more. “You like that baby,” he breathed, shoving his fingers in even deeper.

“Yes,” she moaned breathlessly against his mouth, pressing in against his hand.

He played with her for a few seconds more and then pulled his hand out from under her skirt.

“What the hell Lucian!” Her chest heaved. This was getting ridiculous. She wasn’t sure what he was doing. There was no guidebook to Lucian. He wasn’t like most men. He liked to play…savor the moment as long as he could. She stood up, jerked her skirt back in place, and decided to give him a little payback for making her wait. “So tell me about Reed and Raven.”

“Damn it!” He frowned and reached down and adjusted himself. “What a way to kill the moment.”

“What?” she asked a little too innocently. “I was just curious.”

“I am so sick of Reed right now and that girl…” He pushed his hair from his face in aggravation.

  “What did she do?”

“I guess nothing.” He shook his head. “I don’t know, there is something about her I just don’t like.”

“I didn’t think you would.” A bird flew past and landed on a low hanging limb.

  “Why do you say that?”

  “I don’t know,” she said. “Maybe it’s because she’s a nice person.”

“What in the hell is that supposed to mean.” He gaped at her.

“Forget it.” She waved her hand in the air. “Sorry I brought it up.”

“Come on. Tell me,” he coaxed and crossed his arms.

“No, you’ll end up getting mad,” she said and crossed her arms, mimicking him.

“I will not.” He gave her an encouraging look.

“I am just saying that it makes sense that you wouldn’t like her.”

He tensed. “Really, why is that?”

“See, you are getting all pissy.”

“Yeah I am, so you better start talking.”

“Fine,” she huffed and made a face.

“Well…I am waiting?” He glared at her. “What makes sense?”

“I am just saying, and this is purely from my own experience.” She pushed her hair back off her face. “Maybe it is because when you are around someone who is nicer than you are, you see yourself in a different light. Perhaps you don’t like how she makes you see yourself.”

“Right,” he sneered. “What a load of shit.”

She shrugged. “It is just a theory.”

“Screw your theory. She is stupid.”

“Why do you say that?” The wind rustled the leaves above.

“I don’t know… she has a thing for my brother.”

“Now that’s funny.” She laughed and then quickly covered her mouth.

“What the hell is so funny?” His irritation was palpable.

She dropped her hand. “See, you are pissed.”

“I am not,” he lied. “Now tell me what is so funny.”

“Fine,” she sighed. “I think she bugs you because she likes your brother…not you.” She started to laugh again, tears forming in her eyes. “Your brother must be
pretty fine.”

  “Reed is an ass.”

“Apparently he has a hot ass,” she snorted out, and then broke into another fit of laughter.

  “Really…I don’t think so.”

“It doesn’t matter what you think, she obviously wants him…not you.”

“You got a smart mouth you know that?”

“I thought you liked my mouth,” she teased, biting her lip and running her hands through her hair.

He walked over to his bike and leaned against it, sulking.

She walked towards him. Reaching out she grabbed hold of his sides. “I think you are hot.”

He cocked his brow. “You do?”

She stepped even closer. “Yes I do.” She brushed her breasts against his chest. “I really did miss you,” she added sweetly and nuzzled his neck.

“I don’t believe you,” he muttered, staying aloof.

“Come on, don’t be like this.”

Lucian’s brow creased. “You did it.”

“Let me undo it,” she said between soft kisses she placed on his neck.

  “How?” he moped.

“I’ll show you,” she said and deftly undid his pants. She reached down into his jeans, pulled him out, and caressed his growing arousal. Leaning forward, she tried to kiss him on the mouth once more.

  He turned his head.

“Come on, don’t be like this.” She held him firmly in the palm of her hand, stroking the velvet length up and down. “What can I do?” she asked. “I’ll do anything you want.”

He met her gaze. “Anything?” he asked, lifting his brow.

“Yes, anything,” she murmured sweetly and placed a delicate kiss on his chin.

He relaxed his stance. “Okay then.” Lifting his hands, he placed them on her shoulders and pushed down.

“I should have guessed.” Balancing on her heels, she squatted down in front of him.

“Now that’s what I’m talking about.” He ran his hands through the short ends of her hair, pushing the back of her head forward.

Taking a breath, she took him fully into her mouth, to the back of her throat.

“Damn!” He sucked in his breath. “That’s right baby,” he groaned in bliss. “I’ve missed that sweet mouth of yours,” he gritted, holding her head, and rocked his hips forward. “Yeah that’s it, suck me baby.” He pushed her head back and forth faster over his length. She swirled her tongue over the tip and then back down again. “My God, that feels good.” He slid his hands into her hair and closed his eyes. “I am going to cum right now if you keep that up,” he warned, breathing heavy.

She pulled her mouth away and gave him a naughty look. “Isn’t that the point?”

“Yes…no…” He shook his head, indecisive.

“Well which is it?” Leaning forward she dragged her tongue across his length again. “I can stop, you know.”

“I have another idea,” he said, his eyes flashing. He pulled her up from the ground and yanked her roughly against his body. His mouth came down on hers almost savagely. Biting, tugging on her lips, he reached down between her legs, stroking her deftly, finding her warmth. “You like that baby.”

“Y-yes,” she panted against his mouth, her body trembling, gripping his muscled arms.

Lucian yanked her short skirt up further and turned her around. “Hold on baby.” He positioned himself behind her, her bare ass lightly tanned, with the exception of a faint white line from her thong. “Your ass is so sweet,” he murmured, running his hand over the smooth rounded curve. He smacked it lightly. “You want me?” He slid his fingers inside her body again…slowly.

  “Yes,” she gasped out clenching.

“Spread your legs wider,” he instructed. “That’s it, bend over more,” he urged, rubbing the delicate flesh between her thighs, making her quiver.

She was so close, on the edge, and just when she didn’t think she could take a moment more of his exquisite torture, he grabbed hold of her hips and slammed into her from behind. “Oh God!” she cried out in pleasure, gripping the seat.

Fluidly he moved in and out of her, faster, slower, teasing… tantalizing. “Reach back and grab hold of me,” he instructed, filling her with his length. She cupped his balls, making him jerk.

“Oh God, yes…” he groaned, throwing his head back. “ That feels incredible.” Wild now, he thrust into her, pumping harder, getting closer and closer. She pitched forward and let go.

“Come on baby,” he groaned, his balls aching for release. “Don’t quit on me now.”

“I can’t,” she rasped, clutching the seat, her legs trembling from exertion.

He needed her to touch him. “Do it, please,” he begged. Holding the seat with one hand, she reached back and cupped his balls again.

“Oh yeah,” He squeezed her hips, thrusting forward. “That’s it baby.” Delving down into her blouse, he grabbed hold of her breasts, toying with her nipples. She pushed backward, pressing closer.

He threw his head back. “My God, that’s it, once more…”he urged, pulling his hands out of her blouse, moving them back down to her ass, kneading the soft flesh.

“Lucian!” she cried, her face sweating, sticking to the leather seat.

“Hold on baby, I am almost there,” he gritted his teeth. Deftly, he reached down, caressed her between her warm thighs, and then moved back to her ass, rubbing his rough calloused hands over the rounded curve, making her buck against him.

“Come on,” he coaxed, leaning back a bit. “Yeah that’s it… faster baby,” he breathed, jerking her pliable body back against his own. “I’m so damn close baby,” he panted, sweat coating them both. He sucked in his breath, his hands tightening on her hips, moving faster, pumping harder.

“I’m…not…ready,” she gasped, writhing with need, her body clenching around his swollen length.

“I will get you there,” he promised. He slid his hand off her hip and reached around to rub the delicate flesh between her thighs again, increasing the pressure of his fingers…

Her body responded. “Yes…yes…yes…,” she cried out, shattering.

His breath hitched. “Oh fuck yeah, that’s right baby…,” he groaned in ecstasy, thrusting forcefully one last time and taking them both over the edge.

So much for happily ever after

  THE AGE OF CHIVALRY RAVENHURST

“YOU don’t understand,” Marguerite argued, trying to reason with Darias. What was supposed to be her happily ever after was quickly turning into a bloody nightmare.

“Are you a witch?” he asked again, his handsome face inches away from her, the wind whipping his sinfully dark hair around his head.

“I already told you I was not a witch!” She screamed at him, “Are you deaf?” It was hard to see past her hair. The wind kept pushing it in front of her eyes. She would have used her hands to move it away from her face but she couldn’t. Instead, her hands were trapped into two tiny holes in a wooden board with her head stuck in middle. She let her head hang again. It was really hard keeping it upright in this position. At least her knees were on the ground.

The poor girl beside her was too short to rest her knees on the ground so she had to stoop down. She looked miserable. Actually, Marguerite was pretty miserable herself. They could start a club. A bubble of hysterical laughter slipped from her throat. She was starting to sound really-crazy…maybe she already was….

Darias sighed and began to pace back and forth in front of her. The boards creaked under his weight. She noticed his boots were dirty and could see the jeweled hilt of his dagger poking out from the top of his left boot. His long strides ate up the ground, blurring in and out of focus. She shut her eyes as they were starting to cross. She heard him stop once more and reopened her eyes. He was directly in front of her. Strong fingers gripped the sides of her chin and lifted her face, while his other hand pushed her hair away from her eyes.

His voice, filled with emotion, deep, husky, weary. “Why can I not remember you? And why can I
not forget you? I do not understand. What kind of dark art are you practicing?”

She glared up at him and then sighed. “I told you I am not practicing any dark art. You remember me because we met before. You saved me from ruffians ….in the woods, remember?” Of course she wasn’t about to tell him how she really knew him. If he thought she was a witch now, he would really think she was one if she told him the truth.

Releasing her chin, he sighed heavily, and then stood away from her once more. A sharp pain pushed out from behind his eyes and he lifted his hands to his head. “I do not want to leave you out here all night but I will if you do not answer me. My patience is wearing thin.”

Marguerite wanted to scream and rip her hair from her head. His patience was wearing thin? Why would he not listen to her? This, what was happening right now, was a twisted cycle, and unfortunately, she did not think it was going to end anytime soon. Bloody Hell!

Jayce leaned against the frame of the massive door in the great hall, looking out into the bailey. A group of young boys ran past kicking up a cloud of dirt.

“What is so interesting?” Gaitland asked, walking up and looking out into the bailey. He saw Darias pacing back and forth in front of the girl he had found in the woods earlier in the day. He remembered her too from before, but no one else seemed to, or they simply were not saying as much. Which he thought was a bit strange. The strangest of all is that Darias didn’t remember her either. Something unnatural was afoot and he didn’t like it, not one bit. A piece of dirt was on his tunic; he flicked it off.

Jayce glanced over his shoulder, gave Gaitland a bland stare, and then merely shrugged, saying, “Nothing. I am just enjoying the breeze.”

Gaitland frowned. The breeze he spoke of was blowing rather hard suddenly. One lone tree stood in the bailey, bowing in the wind, and looking like it just might bend over on its side. In the distance, he could see ominous clouds moving toward the keep and he exhaled heavily. It was fitting really, this darkness and strange winds that seemed to have come from nowhere. It was sunny just a few short minutes ago. The whole bloody keep had a menacing feeling since the day the girl disappeared, maybe even a few days before. Maybe it started the day she arrived. The other men thought she was the cause of the unnaturalness but Gaitland had his own ideas on the matter. He glanced over across the hall at Morrigan as she carried a trencher of food in from the kitchens and placed it on the table in front of the men. “Are you going to get Darias for the meal?”
